As an Associate Recruiter, my primary job responsibilities involve supporting the strategy goals for the Talent Acquisition and Inclusion team. These goals are developed in order to staff the foundation with the most qualified individuals who will drive towards tackling some of the world's toughest problems. As a recruiting team, we promote the foundation's work and support key programmatic areas, United States Program, Global Policy and Advocacy, Global Health, Global Development, Operations and Communications. Primary skills include, resume review, candidate sourcing, ATS proficiency, phone screening, general prescreening, operational detail, adhering to internal processes, administrative support for recruiters and recruiting managers and other ad hoc projects as requested.

As part of Microsoft's University recruiting team I was involved in recruiting identified talent from colleges and universities. I had the opportunity to work with core dev and non core dev, including MSIT and the MBA program. I was actively involved in the candidate experience and ensured a positive experience for each candidate. This included relationship building throughout the process, developing rapport and facilitating open and trustworthy communication. This occurred prior to their arriving at the Microsoft campus, throughout the interviews, and throughout the decision process. During the closing process I collaborated heavily with hiring managers and other recruiters and yielded a successful and high acceptance rating. This was done through respect to both the business and the candidates.

During the course of my Master's education, I co-founded a successful, thriving private practice. Before pursuing other professional interests, I worked mostly with individuals who were addressing a variety of life issues, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and life transitions. As a systemic therapist I incorporated a range of of modalities, such as Narrative Therapy, Structural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, LifeSpan Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and family of origin work.
