I have more than 30 years of experience in the Public Relations and Media industry. My career started in the newspaper industry directly after graduating college in 1992. I spent thirteen years crafting my skill in media relations on both the press and sales side. I was fortunate to move on to a Public Relations position with our local casino as their Publicist in August of 2005 and later promoted to Public Relations Manager in 2009. I oversee everything from sponsorship and donations to event promotion and execution. My main job is to ensure my company is promoted in the most positive light and when negative situations arise I am there to mitigate any damage. In the past 16 years I have built my skills in areas of event planning, execution and promotion from charitable events to headline entertainment. My favorite part of my job is earning free press in all forms for those who employ me. Building relationships in the industry is key in my success and I have worked hard to build that skill.
