Hi, my name is Heather. I'm currently a nursing student in my fourth year at Mount Royal University. I am deeply passionate about people and want to find solutions, and aid people in any way I can. I am currently very interested in women's health, including that of labor and delivery nursing, and postpartum nursing. I am also very interested in areas of addictions healthcare, harm reduction, gender affirming care, and mental health. It is extremely important to view people in a non-judgmental light, with trauma informed care at the forefront of my mind. I love medical education, its my favorite part of being a nurse and my favorite part of helping people build their own personal capacities.
