Oversee the therapeutic work program, clinical team, and program coordinator team.

Ran monthly interdisciplinary treatment reviews for approximately 20 residents and facilitated communication between clinical staff , behavioral staff, and the psychiatrist. Also provided clinical supervision for residential social workers. Co-Chaired the Clinical Standards Performance Improvement Committee, served on the Sanctuary Core Team, member of Administrative Committee, and member of Healthy Life Styles Committee.

Provided individual, family, and group therapy to a diverse caseload of clients with complex mental health issues at a residential treatment facility for ages 13-18. Performed case management, including consistent contact with insurance companies, providers, community agencies, and families, as well as created and updated clients’ treatment plans. Also served on the Continuity of Care Performance Improvement Committee.

Provided emotional support and short term interventions to adult and older adult patients in the hospital for medical or surgical reasons, as well as provided support for their families. Other duties included psychosocial assessments, collateral contacts, team collaboration, and some case management. Additionally, provided outpatient psychotherapy for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.

Maintained a caseload of six students with psychological and or emotional impairments and was responsible for weekly psychotherapy, as well as participating in the milieu environment. Other duties included psychosocial assessments, collateral contacts, parent/family work, attended IEP and team meetings and co-led a group for the female students at the school.

Developed lesson plans focused on pragmatics, coping skills, cooperative games, nonverbal cues and understanding emotions for a 2nd-5th grade class of children on the Autism Spectrum. Led activities, engaged students, and enforced behavioral plans. Also was responsible for weekly and end of program progress notes for each camper.

Planned creative and interesting activities to promote and teach activities of daily living (including budgeting, “T” training, grocery shopping, money management, and job skills) to students ages 13-22 with traumatic brain injury or other neurological disorders. Also, worked as a teacher’s assistant in the Activities of Daily Living/Mathematics classroom, providing personalized educational/emotional support for the students.
