Heather Hirsch, MD is an entrepreneur and US American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)board-certified internist, and the CEO and founder of Health by Heather Hirsch MD Collaborative, a telemedicine practice offering best-in-class individualized care for perimenopause and menopause, and is also the CEO and founder of Health by Heather Hirsch LLC, teaching and mediacompany that serves to increase the education of laywomen and healthcare providers. Aftercompleting advanced women’s health training at the Cleveland Clinic, she founded themenopause and midlife clinical at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital while serving as faculty at Harvard Medical School in 2020, and most recently launched her private telemedicine-focused practice while co-founding a technology company seeking to revolutionize healthcare for millions of women.Dr. Hirsch released her first book, Unlock Your Menopause Type, in June of 2023, while alsoadvocating fiercely on social media for midlife women’s health providing resources and courses to her hundreds of thousands of social media followers.As a physician and thought leader, Dr. Hirsch has made many media appearances, includingHollywood Access, Live with Kelly and Mark, and was a panelist on Oprah’s “Live the Life You Want” Series on managing menopause. She has been featured on NPR, CNBC, Forbes,Glamor Magazine, and Women’s Health Magazine, among many others.Dr. Hirsch received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University, and her master’s.degree in applied sciences from the University of Buffalo, and her M.D. from the State University ofNew York Upstate Medical University. She completed her residency training at Case WesternReserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Hirsch did a fellowship inadvanced women’s health at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.Dr. Hirsch is also a NAMS-certified menopause practitioner, and a fellow of the International Societyfor the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She is also a former assistant professor of medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
