At the age of 29 I applied for university for the first time! That was a milestone in my life that I will always be proud of, but I followed through on my dream and pushed my ambition to the next level, I moved my little family to Aberdeen to undertake my degree in social work. Supporting my partner and son to settle into our new life in Aberdeen, while they supported me in starting my degree.Completing the first three years of my Ba Hons degree has giving me a sense of pride that keeps me driven to keep going and complete the course. Placement has given me an insight into different areas of social work and has given me a real taste for what the job entails – it makes me look forward to my future and the career I am going to have in social work
