Customer Service Representative
Current•Promoted from a Senior Sales Assistant to a Customer Service Representative•Under limited supervision, provides timely and accurate guidance and service to policy holders for a variety of Personal Lines products, plans and programs•Solves basic customer problems while assuming responsibility for decisions, tasks and actions which could have a significant impact on other activities and identifies customer needs to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention•Assists sales and service representatives with daily tasks pertaining to customer applications •Demonstrates excellent communication skills while assisting callers in a professional manner at all times •Inputs and follows up on all aspects of the application process, as well as, working with sales and services representatives to discover any discrepancies or questions pertaining to all customer applications •Prepares any funds that comes in to the sales office and allocates it to appropriate location•Exercises initiative and independent judgment while solving problems related to cases •Applies a proficient understanding and use of basic policy and contract coverages in order to recognize questionable coverage and contract situations
