I have enjoyed working in veterinary medicine as an RVT throughout my adult life in various clinics. I finally found my clinic home in the 90’s at PPVC and have worked with a spectacular team. My favorite area of medicine is PBMt (if you know, you know!) and geriatric care.After certifying in small animal clinical massage, I have also been providing PBMt assisted massage housecalls for (mostly) geriatric and hospice patients. I love promoting the human-animal bond and have found PBMt to be a much needed modality in that arena. I also attended 3 years of nursing school on the human side and feel strongly that there needs to be a larger collaboration in mammalian medicine. I recently enrolled in the CCAT program at NCSU and am excited to pursue Companion Animal Rehabilitation. (Especially because the instructors are leaders in the rehab arena!)My main purpose on LinkedIn is to engage and learn from others in the veterinary field because they are some of my favorite people on this planet.
