Registered professional Civil Engineer and serves as Director for Huma Environmental®, a brand of bioremediation products and services offered by Bio Huma Netics, Inc. Has 20 years’ experience in project management, environmental programs, and municipal and industrial facility system analysis. She also has experience in design for both municipal water and wastewater systems. Heather is responsible for managing sales and the research and development efforts of Huma Environmental® wastewater treatment products and services.  She is a published author in industry journals, a frequent conference speaker, and the host of the Water Break Podcast. Responsibilities as Task Manager included oversight of soil vapor collection, preparation of reports and coordinating sampling events for SVE system and sparging. Included State Assurance Funding preparation as well.Former Exxon Station, Prescott. Responsibilities as Task Manager included developing specifications and preliminary design for a dual phase extraction system to treat soil vapors and contaminated groundwater.Ashland Inc., Phoenix. Responsibilities as Task Manager included oversight of soil collection, preparation of reports and coordinating sampling events. Also includes development of sampling plan and a site specific Health and Safety Plan.Former PureGro Blythe, California. Responsibilities as Task Manager included oversight of groundwater data collection, preparation of quarterly reports and coordinating quarterly sampling events. Organized and developed sampling plan as well as performed a SVE Pilot Test of on-site wells to size SVE and air sparging equipment. Also included development of sampling plan for low flow purging and a site specific Health and Safety Plan.Former PureGro Coolidge, Coolidge. Reclaimed Water Transmission Pipeline, City of Avondale. Responsibilities as Task Manager included leading utility field work, utility as-builts collection/compilation, preliminary hydraulics and pipeline alignment. Also responsible for technical memorandum for Value Evaluation for the City.Rancho Sahuarita Wastewater Treatment Plant AZPDES Permit, Town of Sahuarita. Responsibilities as Task Manager included completing AZPDES permit and 208 Consistency Forms for emergency treated effluent discharge from storage reservoirs, worked with ADEQ and City to obtain an AZPDES permit.Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). CH2M HILL contracted with FEMA to provide design and construction services for temporary housing as part of the Hurricane Katrina recovery project. Responsibilities included being the Design Lead of Temporary Housing sites, including utility and site work in Louisiana for the Phoenix Office. Responsibilities also included coordinating design effort between several CH2M HILL offices in the U. S. and Canada and the preparation of Bid Forms and Scopes of Work for the sites.Reclaimed Water Pipeline, Town of Oro Valley. A new reclaimed water distribution system was required to provide irrigation to three existing golf courses as well as provide future capacity for future golf courses and existing schools in the area. Responsibilities included corrosion testing and utility field work. Also involved in the surge analysis and pipeline design.

Hassayampa Landfill EPA Superfund Site, Maricopa County. Responsibilities as Task Manager included oversight of comprehensive data collection activities, preparing quarterly and annual reports for EPA and ADEQ as well as presentation preparation for quarterly agency meetings. Also responsible for coordinating quarterly and semi-annual groundwater and soil vapor sampling events, maintaining database, QA/QC monitoring, programmable logic control system and tracking logs for state agencies. Performed Health and Safety Inspection and helped prepare the Health and Safety Plan for the site. BHP Pinto Valley Operations, Miami. Responsibilities as Task Manager included maintaining APP and AZPDES database, QA/QC of data, support for AZPDES permit renewal, preparing quarterly and annual reports for state agencies as well as DMRs and SMRFs. Honeywell/Motorola 52st OU2 Investigation, Phoenix. Participated in SVE and groundwater sampling events as well as performed quarterly UST vault monitoring.

Arsenic Wastewater Treatment, Motorola-SPS, Tempe. Facility Engineer responsible for performing facility system analysis and design for the largest Gallium Arsenide semiconductor factory. Supported services for arsenic and industrial wastewater treatment systems.
