I have demonstrated expertise leading an award-winning strategic team through a website redesign, including establishing an effective web content governance plan; building an in-house marketing team; and shaping, guiding and measuring integrated communications strategies through successful partnerships with Admissions, Advancement, and deans in all three colleges at the University.I set the strategy for and manage a creative team that produces all strategic communications for the University, including print materials, e-newsletters, website content, social media, marketing campaigns, photography, video and Bucknell Magazine.I present on content strategy, web redesign and social media at national and regional conferences, am a strong and persuasive writer, and thrive when leading teams through change and challenging opportunities.I currently serve with faculty and administrative colleagues on Bucknell University’s Retention Investigation Task Force.

As Interim Chief Communications Officer and Senior Director of Content Strategy for Bucknell University, I led a team of nearly 50 talented communications, marketing, web, print shop and mailroom professionals. Together we upheld and elevated the University’s brand, earned national media attention, and engaged target audiences by creating effective and strategic content on many channels, including social media, photography, videography, graphic design, a quarterly magazine distributed to more than 50,000 readers, and an award-winning website. In addition to supporting senior leadership with executive communications, our team partnered with colleagues across campus to provide innovative, robust and measurable marketing, digital, visual, social media, media relations and internal communications strategies. In my capacity as interim, I advised senior leadership on strategic communications efforts, developed and executed crisis communications, and led the successful redesign and launch of bucknell.edu.
