Working in a consultant role for several clients, my day to day roles include -Financial Planning - I am responsible for developing and implementing financial plans and strategies for each organisations short-term and long-term financial goals Budgeting - Create and manage budgets and budget analysis including projections and managing performance against projections.Compliance & Regulations - I have made sure that myself and the companies I perform for are staying up to date with financial regulations and ensure each organisation complies with them, this includes reporting requirements and financial disclosure.Month End and Year End Reporting - Performing month end reports and year end reports ready to be passed to the accountant firm including VAT and bank reconciliation. Produce MI reports for the board members of each company and chair all financial meetings with board and other stakeholders. Performing cashflow summaries and any other reports as required by board members.

I started working at Gladstone Brookes as an accounts office assistant before quickly working my way up to an accounts Team Leader by 2009. I headed the finance department from 2011, providing full function oversight and control.During my time at Gladstone Brookes, I have created new processes for making the accounts department run more smoothly, including implementing a fully paperless and digital service using online systems and an internal CMS system and implementing CASS 13 FCA regulations. My day to day role included management of 4 to 8 staff members, financial reporting, cash flow management, risk management, and compliance and regulation management.
