About Heather Jokiel

I have been in sales for over 20 years but my passion is customer service. There is no greater feeling than helping my clients achieve their goals by providing them with a solution that fits their needs and service that keeps them coming back. It is always my preference to sell a client the best solution for their needs, not the most expensive upsell. My reason for this is that if a customer is truly happy with their solutions, then they are far more likely to continue to bring their business back to me, year after year. The long sales relationship is superior in every way over a short sale.Good customer service has been the foundation of my entire career. At GameStop I was given the Store Manger position at a very "troubled" store that was extremely low in the company rankings; the previous manager was certain that the clientele was not receptive to buying used merchandise or trading in their used games. Within less than a year, I skyrocketed my used sales and trade-ins simply by telling my customers over and over again that the product was guaranteed the same as new and that trade-ins are a great way to save money. My store shot into the top third of the company ranking and I was fast-tracked to the District Management training program. I carried this work ethic and "eager to please" mentality into my career at Tie National. I knew nothing of Telecommunications when I first became a National Account Representative. Over ten years later, I am one of the people that my teammates can count on to understand the customer objective and provide clear instructions on how to execute and troubleshoot. I never want to say "that's not my job." If there is something that I can contribute to help make the service process more pleasant, I want to contribute it. It is my belief that being a team player is a critical aspect of being a good leader. My team is important to me and strive to give and take feedback from my leadership and peers with the goal of improving processes and keeping our customers happy.
