Director Of Operations
Current- Oversee daily sales and business operations for one of North America's largest Wholesale Luxury Distributors.- Supporting companies M&A team with new business ventures. Providing operational support, system set up guidance and SOPs for a seamless business integration. Companies most recent ventures have been within the Luxury sleep and Luxury Spirits sector.- Analyze daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly shipping numbers to ensure financial plans are being actualized.- Manage operational P&L, assist with GL coding for multiple sectors within the business, and attend quarterly budget meetings- Survey company software and work with operating team consistently to ensure daily efficiencies- Farm and implement newly innovated procedures within the operational team to ensure we maximize our time and are prepared for 1M+ growth within each sector per year ( report building, system enhancements, EDI set ups, streamline communication etc.)- Analyze compliance issues, partner with customers and implement newprocedures to cut down on profit loss due to chargebacks. Recovered 75% of outstandingchargebacks in just 6 months that were accumulated over a 2 year span. - Supervise annual DC audits held by big box customers andfinancial institutions- Train, mentor and support a high performing team, providingregular performance reviews, feedback, and coaching indeficient areas
