Support owner in day-to-day activities and maintenance of the store. Provide customers with a positive shopping experience. Input and manage inventory. Assist store owner in buying merchandise and developing relationships with sales representatives. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of gift industry, current inventory, customer names and purchase history, and vendors. Facilitate store public relations including social media, e-newsletters, promotions, and special events. Assist in analyzing monthly sales reports, customer data, and product/promotion performance and using these insights to increase sales and fortify customer relationships.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding Title I. Develop data-driven strategic approach for district-level parent engagement. Coordinate and promote series of educational workshops for parents called Parent University. Publish a quarterly newsletter (the Family 411) for parents. Coordinate relocation and renovation of District Parent Resource Center. Serve as liaison between 21 Parent Involvement Coordinators (PICs) and Director of Federal Programs. Provide guidance and technical assistance to PICs. Develop and communicate research based data to PICs to facilitate growth of parent relationships. Provide PICs with resources and materials necessary to deliver best practices and key insights to parents. Seek community partnerships to create opportunities for parents and students.
