As the bakery’s manager I came on board to restructure and improve the product line along with help increase food sales. I manage 3 night employees and one daytime assistant. My job includes ordering product, receiving and rotating product for quality control and food safety, and payroll. Tracking and receiving the invoices for daily store orders and communication to all the coffee shop’s managers about product and store needs. I am also responsible for baked goods preparation which include making and prepping all raw dough from muffins, pound cakes, and cookies to quiches and cream cheeses ect. for the nightly bake team to bake and package. I was expected to improve food quality and lower food cost which was accomplished; in doing so, I have raised food sales 100% for the past 2 quarters in every store.August 2005-Present- Production Manager/Cake Artist- Cecelia Villaveces Cakes in Athens, GAAt Cecelia’s cakes I quickly became manager and head cake designer and decorator. As Manager I was in charge of wedding cake and event consultations, baking, icing and decorating, and delivering and set up.  I was responsible for employee supervision and training, daily operations, including phone consultation, front counter, ordering and receiving shipments, decoration daily cake orders, baking cakes, cupcakes and petitfours, and making icings and custard fillings. I also trained new employees to be efficient in cake decorating and customer service. Food safety, quality control were also an important part of my job as a manager.
