Within our Broadband Infrastructure Office, I am responsible for managing the compliance and implementation as it relates to all government-sponsored broadband grant projects. Fiber is the future and we are working diligently on partnership opportunities to deliver enhanced services to those that are currently underserved.

Responsible for managing the implementation and compliance of government sponsored broadband grants as well as securing the awarded grant funds. Confirmation for compliance of reporting obligations for each respective area as a result of an outage.

This position has been a combination of project management, reading, research, writing, government relations, and social media. Created and manage the company's social policy profile which includes being responsible for the social diagnostics for the team. Responsible for strategic messaging and content creation for the team website, blog page and local government affairs team. Managed the state's first of it's kind Cybersecurity summit which included nationally recognized industry expert keynotes. The summit was deemed a great success and brought together the top 100 C-level business leaders across the state. Was integral in the integration process for the company's most recent acquisition, managing the efforts for the policy organization. This project required: extensive communication across all business units, collaborative partnerships created to ensure business continuity, thorough analysis and reporting to all levels of the organization, an ability to process and disseminate clear direction from leadership.

Worked on the company's first Economic Development team - a group of 4. Developed numerous relationships across the state of Louisiana with business leaders and economic drivers which helped us to succeed in our mission to recruit and retain. Formed collaborative partnerships where we successfully built websites and created video content to assist in recruitment ventures. Additionally, part of this role allowed me to meet with schools and connect them to businesses that provided STEM (Science. Technology. Education. Math) training and grants. This provided an educational pathway to filling the jobs of tomorrow and created a pipeline to meet the company's future workforce need.

Responsible for coordination of all tasks that passed through the Vice President's office. Prioritized a busy calendar for the VP and 6 directors with a team of nearly 100 employees. Planned, managed, and maintained the departmental budget. Extensive communication on behalf of the VP at all levels of leadership, both internal and external. Events planning, large or small / internal and external in nature, from employee recognition events to company-wide employee festivities to charitable fundraisers. Worked closely with Human Resources for recruiting, on-boarding, and employee reviews for the department.
