Played a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and adherence to standards of nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections within the organization. The primary responsibility is to inspect and assess the work of subordinates conducting NDT inspections to ensure proper technique, compliance with technical manuals, and proficiency in carrying out inspections. This includes Identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of inspections.

-NAS 410 Level 2 requirements in multiple NDT disciplines. Recognized by Chief, Air Force NDI Office-Authored numerous technical improvement documents and slideshows to streamline inspection processes and increase production-Lead Quality Assurance/Control for NDT Section to ensure compliance for standards and NDT regulations-Supervised over 40 technicians utilizing NDT methods; functions as technical advisor for 3 specific airframes and NDT disciplines-Evaluated personnel qualifications, improves work methods and processes utilizing Six Sigma improvement techniques-Managed/Developed 100% on-the-job training programs for eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic (x-ray), Liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle inspection methods-Coordinated resources to meet multi-shift work load requirements and reviews/evaluates productions reports-Provide regular training (classroom, hands-on, and online via Microsoft TEAMS) and certification for skill level advancement -- supervised upgrade and proficiency training-Prepare reports and correspondence as required to upper supervision and customers

Responsible for ensuring aircraft are operationally ready by performing scheduled inspections, functional checks, and preventive, maintenance both before and after flights, and ensuring that the aircraft are properly serviced with fuel, hydraulic fluid, and liquid oxygen. Maintained aircraft maintenance records and followed job guides and blueprints for routine and erroneous discrepancies that arise.
