Promoted in 2014 to manage Public Finance/Not-For-Profit (PF/NFP) Risk Group providing credit coverage (including secured finance and derivatives) to more than 90 State and Local Governments, colleges and universities, non-profit institutions, religious entities, public pension plans and charitable foundations. ● Assisted Restructuring Group in exiting sub-optimal PF/NFP credits, in addition to unwinding non-strategic, capital-intensive credit exposures; to increase the remaining profitable PF/NFP credit exposures, expanded secured finance credit to public and private pension plans, and exposure to funded loans.● To further increase the Bank’s secured finance credit exposure, completed underwriting, documentation and closing of assignment/participation in four Collateralized Loan Obligation warehouse facilities.● Identifying the need for a better understanding of Secured Finance Transactions (SFTs) within Credit Risk, envisaged, created and executed a Secured Finance Seminar Series for Credit Risk consisting of presentation webinars of SFT product managers and attorneys on Secured Finance Products, Legal Documentation, Risks and Reporting and Fixed Income Clearing Corporation Sponsored Membership Program (FICC SMP) Transactions.Prior to 2014, was responsible for credit approvals, as well as structuring, documenting and monitoring a portfolio of investment-grade insurance companies and asset managers. Conducted client and industry due diligence and special projects.
