About Heather Luth

I am passionate about creating a world where people living with dementia and other brain changes not only feel accepted and included but also supported to live well and to engage their strengths and abilities in meaningful ways. Walking a proverbial mile in someone's shoes is my approach to understanding the lived experience of people living with dementia through observation, listening and learning. This same approach is useful in understanding and supporting team members and care partners and inspires creative, respectful and collaborative problem solving. The education and learning opportunities I facilitate are seasoned with hands-on, real life moments that people can relate to and offer an alternative understanding of everyday, familiar situations that may then spark a new response or learning. Respect, collaboration, partnership and creativity are values that ground the work I do and my style of interaction with others. Each day brings with it new opportunities for meaning, purpose and growth!
