Currently, I work as a Digital Marketing Captain for COOP Careers, a non-profit organization that helps individuals who are underemployed/unemployed by providing specialized training and networking opportunities with their partners. In my current role, I provide instruction and guidance to recent college graduates and professionals who are just beginning their careers in Digital Marketing. Moreover, I provide training in Microsoft Excel (creating pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.); Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM); Campaign Management for Paid Search and Paid Social; how to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports on them; how to successfully manage client-based projects and how to create a resume and Linkedin profile. Before my current role, I was a Performance Media Analyst (Paid Search and Paid Social) at Spark Foundry. I assisted in building and managing campaigns for various social media and search engine platforms such as Meta/Instagram; TikTok; Pinterest; Google; and Microsoft. I also tracked and reported on key performance indicators (KPIs); budgets; and billing information for multiple client accounts, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Excel; SA360; and PRISMA. In addition, I recorded meeting minutes in team and client-facing meetings; performed quality assurance work (QA) on built-out campaigns before their launch dates and on pivot tables and charts to find inaccurate/omitted data. I have experience in working on big-name client accounts along with working in team and solo settings. As for my education/training, I graduated from COOP's Digital Marketing Program in Dec 2021. From COOP's 200-hour training program, I gained valuable skills and knowledge in digital marketing; Search Engine Marketing (SEM); Search Engine Optimization (SEO) data analytics; and digital communication. Before COOP, I earned a certificate in Sign Language Interpreting from Moraine Valley Community College and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from National-Louis University with concentrations in Spanish and Psychology. My future goals are to become involved with community outreach; non-profit work; digital marketing management; brand management; creative marketing; or digital advertising. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the digital marketing field and in other avenues.
