Heather has that rare ability to instantaneously connect on a deep level, either personally or professionally. Known as an outgoing introvert, she has never met a stranger. Her social intelligence enables her to "cut through the noise” to identify the real issues confronting individuals and groups she works with. She knows how to bring out the strengths in leaders with whom she works, and direct them to positive results and sustainable change. Originally hailing from Wyoming, Heather brings her “cowboy spirit” to all she does – with a fearless attitude toward finding solutions. Consequently, entrepreneurship comes naturally to her, as she has operated and started several small businesses. She knows the challenges small businesses face with employee retention, training and motivation. She works well with companies in various stages of development from startup to planned growth. Her passion for at-risk youth and driven personality moved her to start a local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of America in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2009. While she doesn’t like to take all the credit, it was her drive and experience that made the inner workings happen. She has earned a reputation for having a strong, yet soft, management style, combining her experience as a non-profit manager, entrepreneur, government organizational facilitator, and parent educator. With a background in professional coaching and positive psychology, she helps employees and leaders find their own intrinsic strengths to be better bosses, trainers, and employees. Heather enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and all that comes with living in Colorado. If she isn’t working, you might find her on a mountain with her husband, Ren, their three boys, Andrew, Ryan, Lander, or her dog Routty, skiing, fishing, hiking, biking or camping.
