My primary responsibilities include administering nursing care to behavioral health patients, medication management, education, and administration, phlebotomy, TB test placement and reading. I liaison with providers, detox facilities, and hospitals on behalf of clients. I teach a nursing-specific group twice a week and support client’s needs through coping skills coaching.

My primary responsibilities include administering nursing care to behavioral health patients, both adult and pediatric, assisting our telepsych and in-house counselors to safely make contact with patients, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Daily tasks include collaborating with various central intake RNs, transfer services personnel, and patient/families to provide safe discharge planning and placement. In addition to carrying my own patient load, I assist with all other behavioral health patients within the ED.

I helped create New Nurse Orientation curriculum and agenda including assessments, mental status, etc. I provided input to leadership regarding psychiatric and medical emergency management. I assisted with and created content for conversion of education content to a virtual format.

My primary responsibilities were to supervise daily operations of the Inpatient Unit, the 23-Hour Crisis Observation Unit, and the Outpatient Service Center with a total of 66 beds and 130 staff members. I provided clinical leadership and direct supervision to nursing and support staff to promote quality patient care; developed and provided education to all staff; performed investigations and disciplinary actions; coordinated with outside agencies, clinics, and internal facilities regarding patient care, admissions, discharges and transfers; completed weekly work plan which included multiple performance metrics such as charting accuracy, medication management; continued to provide bedside nursing as needed.

My primary responsibilities are mental and physical exams, documentation, and medication management for voluntary and involuntary patients which included petitioned patients and patients under Court Ordered Treatment. Additionally, I coordinate with clinics regarding continuation of care and discharge planning. I was responsible for complex decisions regarding patient care such as when to initiate or terminate a seclusion or restraint event, when to staff with a provider for medical send-outs and transfers, and when to request emergent medications.
