Interned on a campaign on the USF Tampa campus designed to ban single- use plastics and replace them with sustainable alternatives that were both affordable and easily available to students, faculty, and guests.• Responsible for running the USF Tampa campaign as well as managing and recruiting a team of interns and volunteers.• Organizing events and conducting interviews with campus media personnel.• Organize and hold meetings with interns and volunteers as well as hold a biweekly meeting for new volunteers or interested students.• Connected with several environmental and social justice student organization on campus and created and held USF's 1st Sustainability Social.• Collected over 800 signatures from student, faculty, and student organizations• Presented the “Break Free from Plastic” Petition to USF Student Government which they then unanimously signed.
