My passion as a litigator for the last 25 years has always been to help others work out creative solutions to their disputes. Although I've been mediating since 2010, in January 2019 I decided to focus my practice on full-time mediation. I help people transform their conflict into resolution by brainstorming during our mediation. If the case does not settle, I will stay involved until the conflict is resolved through settlement or trial.

I mediate disputes for parties. I serve as general counsel to a number of business that do not have their own, in-house attorneys. I advocate for businesses in disputes.

I have served as a Special Commissioner for condemnation hearings since 2012. As a Special Commissioner, I have listened to testimony from appraisers from the government and the landowner to decide on the fair market value of the property to be condemned.

At Morgan Lewis, I was honored to handle a docket of cases for a large bank arising out of a purchase and assumption of another large, failed bank. I also ran a large docket of tort cases for an international shipping company. Finally, I defended an engineering and procurement company that installed a natural gas processing plant. A year after the plant was completed, a piece of industrial equipment exploded and killed an operator at the plant.

At Fulbright, I handled commercial litigation. I was often asked to evaluate the extent and quality of insurance coverage - primarily directors and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), and fiduciary policies. In doing so, I also handled a number of directors' and officers' disputes, and defended various professionals against allegations of malpractice. I also led corporate investigations of various types, including allegations of employee dishonesty and theft, and intellectual property. While there, I served as a faculty member for the firm's trial training program, as a member of the mentorship committee, and as a member of the firm's corporate governance practice group.
