Involved in all aspects of patient care from responding to all trauma alert levels, critical care management, floor management and discharge. Responsible for daily patient care rounds, which include recording patient medical history, physical exam, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, developing therapeutic care plans and establishing diagnoses. Performing diagnostic procedure such as eFAST, central lines, arterial lines, chest tube thoracotomy and dialysis catheter placement. Also proficient in surgical first assist for all trauma and general surgery cases.

Worked independently as the primary care provider for a 12-bed unit. Responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with urgent medical needs after initial evaluation is completed in the ED. High quality, comprehensive care to patients in a fast paced and dynamic observation unit that emphasized patient flow and throughput. Tasks included complete and focused history and physicals on patients, medications orders, order and interpret labs, EKG/telemetry, and other diagnostic studies, as well as coordinate patient care with other disciplines.

Work along side physician, and physician extenders at three facilities. Involved in all aspects of patient care including: obtaining comprehensive history and physicals, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing. Preform emergent procedures and develop accurate therapeutic treatment plans, including prescription medication, admission and discharges.
