I inspire growth by wholeheartedly living a life of continuous improvement and encouraging others to do the same.As a wife and pet parent, this means being a recovering perfectionist that loves to make connections and learn new things. Some days, this looks like volunteering in the community for our local animal shelter, and others, it means curling up at home with a good book and a warm cat. But, it always means practicing healthy striving and challenging myself to live a life filled with purpose and passion.In the more than two decades that I have been a member of the Sheetz Fam, I have worked my way up from Salesperson to Store Manager before finding my true home in Human Resources. Working in Talent Development has allowed me to combine my love of teaching with my love of Sheetz, keeping me on my path to be a lifelong learner. As an empathetic leader, it’s important to me that I show up for my team, create brave spaces, and am known as someone on which others can depend.In my current role, I develop training solutions that meet the needs of the organization and positively impact the bottom line. In 2016, I led implementation of the Performance Development Specialist program companywide and have continued to grow and expand the program year-over-year. I have also developed training model strategy and execution plans for Columbus, Dayton, Michigan, and other growth markets within Sheetz.
