I am a patent litigation associate at Latham & Watkins. My undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Neuroscience and Political Science exposed me to diverse methodologies for researching and tackling problems. My passion for and exposure to the sciences and clinical research allowed me to develop my fact finding, practical judgment, and analytical reasoning skills that will be instrumental in my future practice. I hope to couple these abilities with my desire for direct client interaction and advocacy in the field of intellectual property litigation.I believe my background will grant me a diverse perspective on the fields of science, law, and any overlap there may be. I look forward to any and all opportunities that these areas may hold. Feel free to contact me at heather.haynes@lw.com to further discuss my experiences and any future opportunities, professional or otherwise.
