Customer service and safety are always the first priority. I assist management with the operation of the facility up to and including assisting with the Daily Accounting Reports, cash counts, over/short logs, food and supply ordering and receiving, scheduling, and payroll. I represent the facility for New Comer Bus tours on a weekly basis. I help track inventory and reports through RecTrac and report to the chain of command as necessary. I follow the standards that have been set by management and the Army, operate the point of sale system in RecTrac, manage money transactions and assist in coordinating functions and events including set up and break down. I formulate instructions and directives to operate a profit generating business. I work with a team to make sure that all bar and facility policies and procedures are adhered to from paperwork to cleaning on a day to day basis, and take on extra duties as assigned. When help is needed, I take food and drink orders, entering everything into the computer system while seeing to the needs of the customers. When necessary, I help trouble shoot issues. Attention to detail is of high priority, not only for customer safety, but to make sure that the facility runs smoothly.

I coordinate long-range planning for airplanes including creating master schedules, work package consolidation, manpower, and material requirements buildings. I schedule heavy checks and project needed maintenance for future needs. I follow up on the plans I create for maintenance checks in order to ensure that requirements were met, routine services are included, and modifications are made as needed to get the planes repaired and reduce labor and costs when I can. I work with a team to ensure that the planes do not overfly FAA requirements, and audit work packages to make sure that everything is completed as requested. I schedule and control all engine and aircraft components for repair, overhaul, and/or modification both in house as well as through outside agencies. I coordinate with venders, mechanics, and other departments in order to develop the work scope for engineers, airframes, and landing gears and provide support to my maintenance team as needed. I assist in revising maintenance manuals, as well as maintain the on the job training data base.

I work as a direct serve provider, providing outpatient substance abuse services to ages 12-25. I meet weekly with my consumers, set appointment, and adhere to all state, federal, and CARF required documentation. I abide by all HIPAA Privacy rules in order to maintain the consumer’s confidentiality. I work with my consumer for a minimum of three month in order to address and arrest their substance abuse issues. I work with other agencies, including halfway homes, youth care facilities, Office of Children’s Services, and Department of Juvenile Justice in order to provide the best care possible for my consumers and keep them in compliance with any regulations they have to follow. I ensure all data is entered into the proper databases and billing forums are accurate. I work with and do Substance abuse assessment. I create treatment plans to best meet the needs of my consumer. I maintain documentation to the company, state, and federal standards, both written and electronic. I’ve provided family, individual, group, and couples counseling sessions. I assist with client evaluation to ensure that their needs will be met in the best way possible.

I greet guests in a timely manner, and ensure those that are at the bar, or drinking alcohol at the tables, are at least 21 years of age and do not have the Alaska red stripe on their license so that they are legal to drink. I am to remain courteous and professional at all times. I know the whole menu, as well as information on all the beers that are brewed within the walls, while maintaining an active memory of the history of the building, Fairbanks, and current events. I use selling techniques to ensure that all my guests are happy with their service. I ensure that all Alaska alcohol laws are adhered to. My TAPs and Alaska Food Handlers cards are to date. I set up and maintain the bar stock as well as assist with ordering bar supplies and inventory as needed. Verbal and written communication skills, as well as accurate head math are a requirement to be good bartender, as well as provide the best customer service I can. This job requires being able to lift the weight of a full keg of beer, and be active on my feet for the entire duration of the shift.

Interact with clients and staff in a respectful and empowering manner. Attend staff meetings and trainings and maintain a professional demeanor. I adhere to the policies and procedures, monitor the residents in order to maintain their safety. I monitor the camera system for illegal or disruptive situations and address any overnight housing issues. This sometimes requires de-escalation and mediation, other times, I may need to call in outside assistance from the local Law Enforcement. I assist residents with lock outs, and help emergency responders to gain access to the buildings. Professional and courteous behavior towards all my customers and staff was of the utmost importance. Not only was I the on-site manager/owner for day to day supervision, I was also behind the bar, and operating a profit generating business. I planned, directed, and oversaw all aspects of the business administration with my partners. I was responsible for overseeing and leading my team while empowering and supporting my supervisors to take responsibility and pride in their work. I hired and trained all the employees, making sure that all their paperwork was complete, and filed appropriately. I counted in the daily banks, operated the register, and made sure that all money got to the accountant once a week. I worked with the accountant to make budgeting decisions and projected needs and expenses. My partner and I did a complete inventory on a weekly basis. I assisted in making arrangements for live bands or DJ's for each weekend and assisted with the radio advertising for the bar. I assisted with maintaining the inventory, keeping the bar stocked, and clean. I maintained a healthy working relationship with the different distributors in town in order to provide the best product to my customers, as well as many of the local performers in town so that we could provide a variety of live performances. I focused on developing a superior workforce and leading my team through the challenges we faced.

Carry out and attain the goals of the bar, most importantly, doing my best to ensure the health and safety of my employees and customers by helping to develop a superior team. I assisted with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees while providing direction and oversight for the team I had. I empowered my employees to live up to their full potential and provide feedback on their job performance. I kept track of all necessary trainings that were needed for my staff. In addition, I also tended the bar, making sure that all my customers were over the age of 21. I had to maintain a full working knowledge of a large variety of cocktails and shots in order to make sure that my customers got what they what they wanted. I maintained the cleanliness of the facility, allowing my customers to enjoy themselves in a clean and stress-free environment.
