Attention to detail is of high priority, not only for customer safety, but to make sure that the facility runs smoothly. -

I schedule heavy checks and project needed maintenance for future needs. I follow up on the plans I create for maintenance checks in order to ensure that requirements were met, routine services are included, and modifications are made as needed to get the planes repaired and reduce labor and costs when I can. I work with a team to ensure that the planes do not overfly FAA requirements, and audit work packages to make sure that everything is completed as requested. I coordinate with venders, mechanics, and other departments in order to develop the work scope for engineers, airframes, and landing gears and provide support to my maintenance team as needed. I use selling techniques to ensure that all my guests are happy with their service. I ensure that all Alaska alcohol laws are adhered to. My TAPs and Alaska Food Handlers cards are to date. I set up and maintain the bar stock as well as assist with ordering bar supplies and inventory as needed. Verbal and written communication skills, as well as accurate head math are a requirement to be good bartender, as well as provide the best customer service I can. This job requires being able to lift the weight of a full keg of beer, and be active on my feet for the entire duration of the shift.

I worked with the accountant to make budgeting decisions and projected needs and expenses. My partner and I did a complete inventory on a weekly basis. I assisted in making arrangements for live bands or DJ's for each weekend and assisted with the radio advertising for the bar. I assisted with maintaining the inventory, keeping the bar stocked, and clean. I maintained a healthy working relationship with the different distributors in town in order to provide the best product to my customers, as well as many of the local performers in town so that we could provide a variety of live performances.
