As the Employment Coordinator at the A&FRF I coordinate Hiring Events, connecting the military community with employment not only in the Albuquerque area but throughout the nation. I teach formatting for private sector resumes and federal resumes. I also aide federal job seekers in navigating USA Jobs. One of my most requested skills is to provide feedback on resumes tailored to job announcements. The passion that I have for networking assists this military community in finding employment, which creates a more stable life style.

I organized bi weekly hiring events and assisted in the organization of the Hero Wellness event, reaching out to 100+ agencies for participation. I worked directly with special needs youth during summer camp for the Exceptional Family Member Program. I also provided Information and Referral Services during Newcomer's Orientation to all new active duty members and their families.

I completed all administrative functions of the office to include scheduling 50-60 patients per week via phone or in person. I answered and triaged phone calls in an efficient and courteous manner and accurately documented procedures in patient's dental record digitally, as well as in a hard copy chart. Accurate billing for procedures completed and collection calls made.

Assisted Relocation Specialist with providing Newcomers brefings to incoming students for the Army War College, as well as relocating service members to Carlisle Barracks. Aided Exceptional Family Member Coordinator with the annual luau, ensuring all participants had the best time possible. Researched and created a database to be used for Domestic Violence resources for the tricounty region.

Casualty Assistance Representative for all of Turkey, to include Incirlik AB, Izmir AB, ODC at Adanna, all deployed locations, and the local PERSCO unit. As Relocation Manager, organized bi weekly briefings for incoming Airman and their families to begin their cultural adaption to base and to Turkey. Also provided a tour to spouses on and off base. Trained all Unit Sponsorship Representatives to ensure all sponsors provided a smooth transition to incoming Airmen and their families. AF Aid Representative, provided emergency funds to Airmen in financial need. Provided Information and Referral services through referrals to the appropriate base/federal/stateside agencie., Organized 4 Heart Link classes as Heart Link Coordinator.

Interviewed clients, provided resources, and advocated on behalf of individuals, families, and military retirees. Coordinated with military command, medical staff, law enforcement personnel, Army Family Advocacy, and family members daily to provide responsive and appropriate treatment. . Determined appropriate referral services/options by assessing needs of 300+ clients through interview process.Coordinated 15+ High Risk for Violence Response Team and Child Sexual Maltreatment Response Team meetings to determine nature/extent of concerns or issues with clients. Coordinated Emergency Placement Care for victims of maltreatment. Maintained over 300 client files yearly in accordance with medical standards. Conducted audits of 10% of client files monthly using tools developed by Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA), in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD), Air Force, and other federal guidance, regulations, and laws. Collected biweekly data for 6 month survey by AFMOA to ensure efficacy of Central Registry Board. Reported results of data collection biweekly to AFMOA.

Provided customers with information regarding programs and services offered in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). Assisted 100+ walk-in customers and 250+ phone customers per week, assessing their needs and referring them to the appropriate agencies. Inputted all daily contacts into Air Force Family Integrated Results and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST). Managed Loan Locker Program; purchased items, organized merchandise, and completed requests and returns. Interviewed 3 candidates for an open position and trained new hire on all office procedures. Maintained communication between the contracting company and the center. Prepared the schedule for 3 employees.

Supervised the daily activities of an average staff of 60 personnel and an average client base of 100, to include Behavioral Health Services and Respite Care. Managed the overall utilization of 3000+ medically authorized therapeutic hours for each client on a weekly basis; raising utilization of authorized hours to 90% minimum for each staff member. Interviewed 100+ prospective employees to fill open positions; hiring 60+ Masters and Bachelors level staff to provide behavior modification to clients. Implemented appropriate corrective actions when necessary in response to unacceptable conduct of employees, ranging from corrective action plans to termination.
