I have loved and longed to travel since I was very young. Seeing the world beyond my back yard has always been my dream in life! Not until I was an adult and left for college did I start to make this dream come true. Looking for a way to travel and see the world while maintaining a career lead me to enter the aviation field during my freshman year of college. After earning my "wings" as a private pilot, I continued to study the business side of the aviation industry. From the days of working at The Ohio State University Airport at Don Scott Field, to working for notable companies like Netjets, and Gulfstream Aerospace, I continued to develop and discover my niche. After working in corporate aviation solely, for several years and gaining wonderful experience in that industry, I wanted to branch off and expand a different direction. Becoming an entrepreneur for the first time in 2004, even in part time sales, lead me to realize that working for myself was my ultimate goal. But how was I going to work for myself, travel and use my education? After running a successful business selling kitchen tools and accessories, I took my biggest leap of faith and founded and opened The Everyday Escape, my very own travel agency in 2012. After recently completely my first official year with my own agency, I know that I've found the perfect marriage of entrepreneurship and travel.
