I managed all of the Clinic's products and purchased service contracts to standardize product and service offerings and drive savings of over 4.5 million dollars per year. This included creating and standardizing processes to drive standardized work among employees and departments. By consolidating service agreements, I drive value and efficiency by identifying obsolete or missing equipment on contracts and aggregating total spend for cost savings. I lead value analysis efforts to standardize and drive for best value in physician preference items including orthopedic, spine, neuro, oncology, and cardiac service lines. I use operational budgets across service lines to guide strategic sourcing activities to achieve the organization's highest possible value and savings. As a true believer in relationship building, I focus on building vendor relationships to support the ongoing value-driven sourcing efforts across service lines.I take great pride in developing department sourcing goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. The Coordinator of Strategic Sourcing leads contracting functions within and from the Resource Management department with responsibility for achieving expense management initiatives and targets utilizing the value analysis process. This position is responsible for the development and execution of a purchased services and non-clinical strategic sourcing program. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing and overseeing those activities necessary to assure that the purchased services and other non-clinical procurement tasks are strategically negotiated and managed for health system facilities as authorized. The coordinator acts as the lead in conjunction with in house counsel to optimize contracts for both legal and business optimization.
