Determined to use my film degree in any way I can, or at least come close. I'm a 22-year-old young professional looking for a workplace where I can bring my creativity, innovation, and unique ideas to the table, whether it be in a writer's room, on a social media page, an office environment, or anywhere my degree hopefully decides to take me. Please take me somewhere.I've been writing ever since I can remember, and writing scripts since I was 15 years old. My specialty is children's animated TV. I see animation as a medium, not a genre, and hope to push that belief in my career. I also write coming-of-age, fantasy, and tween sitcoms. I have experience in editing, directing, script supervision, and production design. In my last year in college, I received a $2000 scholarship to put toward my senior thesis project, an animated kids' pilot.Along with writing, I am also a freelance paid script reader. Script coverage is one of my favorite things to work on, since it allows me to reflect on others' work while also improving on my own. I've been doing script coverages for 2 years now, and can provide samples of those as well! I hope to use my script coverages to reach higher in the industry.Social media is another one of my interests. I created content for my school's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages for 3 years, constructing articles, graphics, and cultivating page interaction. My articles can be found on the Point Park Cinema Facebook page. I'm always thinking of ways to market brands I care about, especially smaller businesses who deserve more of a spotlight. One of my biggest social media accomplishments is running a Twitter account for my cat Percy, with over 2200 followers. You can grow an audience for ANYTHING.
