Ideated, proposed, lead, and built the new product development function; aimed at attracting new audiences to fundraise for Cancer Research UK- forecasting additional income of £1.2m (+12%) in 2019/20. • Led production of a segmentation model through development and delivery; identifying highest potential geographies and matching new product/income stream activity. • Responsible for leading modernisation programme of community fundraising; including new audience work • Part of national senior leadership team for Volunteer-led fundraising (c£45m PA).• Championed and drove a culture of innovation and audience development, utilising new products and campaigns to acquire new supporters that delivered enhanced fundraising growth.

• Responsible for income diversification strategy for CRUK eCommerce portfolio. • Built a passionate expert team from scratch to increase income from £1.9m in 2014/15 to £4.5m forecast 18/19 whilst improving profit margin from 19% to 38%. • Track record of spotting opportunities and proposition development, including developing an eBay operation from conception into a £1m income stream and commercialising a product range for people affected by cancer.• Responsible for strategic planning, 5 year and annual operational plan for eCommerce. • Line management of a team of 4, indirect reports of 20; undertaking team leadership, performance management, recruitment, team development, and team design • Responsible for all digital marketing, with a budget of more than £500k PA.• Ownership of all relationships and contracts with 3rd party agencies, suppliers, and fulfilment. Part of the senior leadership team for the trading subsidiary (income +£80m PA).

• Responsible for delivering national scale retail and fundraising project with ownership from conception, business planning, delivery, and evaluation. • Redeveloped and rolled out a new shop proposition model (including initiating Superstore offer) to 600 bricks and mortar shops, using insights into performance and demographics • Developed and delivered the Trading cash donation strategy growing in-store cash donations into a £6m income stream. • Developed and delivered our first cash campaign in-store alongside Stand Up To Cancer Campaign, delivering £500k in Year 1 growing to £960k in Year 2. • Co-lead the development and delivery of a multi-award-winning contactless donation initiative, with a world-first use of contactless technology. • Business owner for the delivery of a cross-organisational project re-platforming 4 trading websites • Developed and delivered many tech-based initiatives, including adoption of footfall counters, digital screens/signage, and POS solutions.
