Profile bio

About Heather Raskell

I have a very diverse career background. I currently work in the blood donation industry helping to reach donors in the rural areas of Washington and Idaho. I have been in this industry for just short of three years now and its a wonderful dynamic to be a part of. I help to coordinate blood mobiles that can reach anywhere between just down the block to hours away! I supervise two teams of mobile and center staff along with working closely with recruitment to reach first time donors. There is really no easier way to help within the community then to give blood, and I feel very honored to make that process easier for donors in my community. Along with my healthcare career I have also been a café owner and cheer coach. Both were amazing opportunities to step outside of my healthcare box and try something new. Owning the café taught me how to effectively run a profitable business while coaching cheer taught me invaluable coaching and mentoring strategies.
