I started out working the board, making burgers, cross trained on fry station, gator, grill, and prep. then moved to porter position, worked that position for the last 8 or 9 months of the 3 years I was employed there.

checking i.d's, delivering drinks, free bussing tables, keeping up with many different open tabs at one time through out the evening.....counting back correct change to pay as you go customers, money transfers to bartender, managing customers to make certain that each customer, both enjoyed their evening out and more importantly that they did not over indulge themselves throughout their evening, made sure each and every table had adequate ashtrays and coasters throughout the evening. made sure each open tab was closed out and paid for before patrons left the establishment. Making sure each customer that was still their at the end of the night, was given the chance to make a last call order, 30 minutes before closing, at the same time, getting their forms of payment before making the order at the bar with my bartender, while closing out each tab accordingly. Making certain that every open container was up from each customer and off each and every table as tables regulations demanded. making sure each and every customer had a designated driver to drive them home safely. made calls to taxi service for the ones that required a taxi ride home. cleaning, stocking, disinfecting each bathroom, toilets; sinks, paper towel dispensers; inside of toilets, seats, handles, pee traps and urinels;, sweeping and mopping, emptying each trash can in bathrooms and throughout establishment. washing, rinsing, drying and replacing ashtrays back on tables, wiping down each table, sweeping and mopping entire floor, cleaning karaoke station, turning off all lights, air conditioners, and games, etc., replacing trash can liners in all cleaned trash cans and replacing them where they went, cleaning pool tables, putting cue stick back where they went. tipping out my bartender and bouncers. all duties were done dutifully and I was pregnant the entire time I worked there, actually worked through both of my pregnancies.....

started out as floor waitress, moved up to bartender within 3 months time, my duties as a waitress were, seating each customer as they walked in, checking i.d's, taking customers drink orders, getting and keeping up with multiple, MULTIPLE, credit cards at a time, maintaining that the correct orders went on the correct opened tabs and with the correct cards throughout the evening. free emptying ashtrays, free busing tables, keeping 4 bathrooms stocked and maintained through out the night, closing out customers open tabs before each customer left, making cash transactions with bartender throughout the night, keeping customers with drinks and snacks throughout the night, making sure each table had appropriate amount of coasters and napkins each customer required. it was a private club so I had to make sure each patron was a member. getting last call orders from customers at last call, ordering all last calls from bartender and closing out each and every tab upon delivery of last call orders. making sure all open drinks and containers were up off the floor by 12 on sundays and 2 on weeknights, making certain all customers were cleared from all bathrooms etc..locking doors, sweeping , mopping, vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting all for bathrooms, making certain each and every bathroom was restocked counters cleaned and disinfected as well as all toilets...emptying trash cans, wiping down all machines, tables, chairs etc on the floor, washing all ashtrays drying them and returning to each table and each game machine, paying back whatever petty cash I used throughout the evening, tipping out my bartender, locking the doors, setting alarm, turning off all lights before leaving....as a bartender, it was my job to check id's and memberships, answering phone calls, taking customers orders at my bar, keeping up with waitresses orders in a timely manner throughout the night closing all tabs giving waitress tips, paperwork
