Specialising in slow crafts and hand made products, I'm greatly inspired by nature, the coast and the British Countryside.All pieces are produced in my spare time- Heather Riches Studio is a true labour of love, and one day I aspire to run this business full time.

Forever feeling creative, in my spare time I often edit and rework old designs, as well as creating new ones to sell on Patternbank. These designs are a variety of styles, being produced both digitally and by hand, which have then been scanned in to created an all over repeat.

Working closely with our sister company Box 3, a print & design studio, I have been building a collection of designs and ranges for Toffie. The designs I have produced are versatile, as they span across a range of products- primarily greetings cards, but also home ware such as roller blinds, mugs and coasters. I work closely with another graphic designer and print technician to finalise all products. The majority of Toffie’s designs are initially produced by hand, either using a collaged paper technique or painting- these are then scanned in and manipulated digitally, to suit a range of products. I regularly visit trade shows and read trend reports online to ensure we stay current with our designs, whilst also creating timeless imagery. Whilst building a portfolio of designs for Toffie, I have also been managing the social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest) as well as building the website. Over the years Toffie has grown, I have become more of a brand manager, as well as designer and illustrator. During my time at Kondor, I had the luxury of working across the own brands here- including Trendz- a pattern heavy tech protection brand, Kitsound - a speaker and headphone company, which several tiers of products, and also Foxwood - a premium leather tech protection brand which I designed the initial collection for. Working on all own brands here included-- Setting up Artwork- Creating Designs, both all over repeat and placement.- Colour Matching with Pantone- Product Design, mostly innovative organisation tech protection.- Creating Presentations, helping to inform the sales team of upcoming trends and plans for the own brands.- Managing my own workload, and also managing the workload of our Assistant designer.- Organising and Prioritising my workload, to meet a variety of deadlines for all own brands.
