Managing relationships with headteachers and senior leaders from schools across the North East of England and Cumbria, supporting them to identify high potential middle leaders to participate in our leadership programmes.Teaching Leaders is a national education charity that addresses educational disadvantage by growing a movement of outstanding middle leaders in schools in challenging contexts across England. We do this by offering four leadership development programmes to our schools: TL Fellows, TL Primary, TL Schools, and TL Aspire.Teaching Leaders’ vision is of a better society: one where life chances are not predetermined by social class, nor shackled by educational disadvantage. In the belief that children’s success at school can be driven not by social background but by the quality and kind of education they receive, we want to strengthen the capacity of those who lead teaching and learning closest to the action on the front line of schools in challenging contexts: middle leaders.

Overseeing the delivery of the Teaching Leaders programmes across the North East - TL Fellows, TL Primary, TL Schools and TL Aspire. Cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders to support recruitment to our programmes across the North East and Cumbria.

I headed up the marketing department of Westminster Forum Projects, an organisation which arranges senior level seminars on public policy in education, health, media, the environment and other areas. I managed a department of 30 staff, reporting directly to the management board and ensuring the company's marketing and database strategy enabled its continued growth. I was responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns for approximately 180 events a year across fifteen policy areas.
