About Heather Salinas

I am an experienced national security and intelligence professional with 15 years experience working in or for Congress. I am particularly interested in helping the United States win the great power competition with China and Russia through policy initiatives aimed at countering disinformation; protecting U.S. data, research, and emerging technologies; and managing geopolitical risk. Over the course of my career, I have established a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary analytic teams and managing complex projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of intelligence and defense programs. My recommendations to executive branch agencies have led to over $2 billion in cost savings for the federal government.I’m interested in connecting with other professionals and organizations who are similarly focused on preserving American security in the face of these enduring challenges.
