About Heather Sherr
I am currently studying epidemiology and biostatistics through the MPH program at Boston University School of Public Health. My current research examines trends in late-stage cancer screening among rural and impoverished counties. My background in biological anthropology, molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, and analytical and creative writing will profoundly shape my work. Health communication is a strong priority in my current work. In my position as a writing fellow with the Public Health Post, I pitch, draft, and edit articles that translate health findings for a wide audience.
