I have been working in MSD Dunboyne as a Manufacturing BTA with my focus being on Downstream, Equipment Preparation, and Solution Preparation operations.I am proficient in Column Packing, Chromatography, Viral Inactivation, Depth Filtration, Viral Filtration, and Gold Particle Testing within the Downstream area and have led teams through each of these unit ops on numerous occasions. I worked as a Sample Preparation Technician in Enfer Labs in Naas. I worked in the Covid-19 lab preparing all of the tests that were sent in to the lab to be tested by PCR.My role involved batching and labelling each sample so that they are traceable in the laboratory LIMS system. I then pipetted a portion of each sample into a lysis buffer tube in a BS Level 2 safety fumehood, disinfecting each tube before they were removed from the fumehood.

I have worked as a cashier / customer assistant for a busy Lidl shop in Blanchardstown. Carrying out customers transactions and helping them to find what they need if approached. I have also handled customer complaints and offered suggestions of products to new customers. I am used to working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and working with my team to provide the best service possible throughout the day. I have also been tasked with my own work to carry out during my shifts often under intense time pressure so I am used to working quickly and accurately under pressure.

I worked as a student teacher in various schools around Dublin teaching science, biology and chemistry classes during the school year. I worked with other staff members planning lessons and helping with extra-curricular activities. I had my own leaving certificate Chemistry class who I performed experiments with and helped to learn the key components of the Chemistry syllabus in a very short period of time as well as other classes that I also needed to plan lessons and prepare experimental equipment and chemicals for.
