As the Head of Human Resources for the Contingent Workforce within Fidelity my responsibilities span from ensuring a stellar on boarding experience to oversight of the worker once hired. Reporting directly in to the CEO and on the Leadership team, my duties span from the candidate experience, through assignment management, to offboarding. The role has oversight of 23 HR professionals and work closely with suppliers and the Staffing Consultants. The role is unique in that it does not just encompass Human Resources, it also has an Operations and Service Delivery component to it. The Vice President role not only ensures that the contingent worker candidate has the best on boarding experience but there is also a service delivery team to ensure that all hires (fulltime and part time) within Fidelity experience a stellar on boarding. The HR team is responsible for handling all assignment management and employee relations. The Vice President role worked across all functions of the firm (Security, Finance, IT, Vendor Management, Procurement, and Staffing) The role was very focused on client management across all business units in the firm.

Responsible for overseeing a staff of HR Managers across the US and management oversight of the Contingent Workforce (over 5,000 workers). Built processes to improve efficiencies and scalability. Built strong client partnerships across the firm and worked on many cross function projects. Oversight of the contingent workers included benefits, employee relations, compliance, trainings, on boarding, off boarding and assignment management.

Designed, implemented and delivered a centralized HR support model for the Contingent workforce. Responsible for finding the talent and building my HR team. The support model was designed for the contingent workers whereby they could call/email for assistance. Under my leadership there was a payroll team, benefits, and employee relations. The HR Managers were across the US and were responsible for mitigating risk to the firm, but also understanding that they were the HR support for the workers.
