About Heather Spriggs Thompson

Heather is primary artist and owner of Heather S. Thompson Fine Art Studios. Founded in 2003, it is a full-service studio offering paint finishes, color consulting, photography and fine art paintings and prints. Heather holds a BFA in Fine Art from Watkins College of Art and Design. Although Heather began as a decorative painter offering custom wall treatments, murals, and cabinetry finishes, she also spent three years as founder and editor-in-chief of her self-published lifestyle magazine (Gatherings Magazine 2011-2014). During this time, she polished her skills in graphic design, photography, styling and editorial creativity. Her work won Best Mural and Best Faux Finishing of the Kings' Chapel Parade of Homes in 2014.
