When I was about 5 years old I asked my daddy for some money for a treat, his response was that money does not grow on trees. My sharp little mind countered with, actually daddy it kind of does, money is printed on paper and paper comes from trees. My daddy conceded that I was correct, however, money was not that easy to come by you had to work for it. He was a CPA so he always tried to teach us the value of giving from the heart, saving for the future and spending minimally.
