Ms. Stepp is currently an environmental scientist and project manager with SAIC. She has 15 years experience in the environmental sciences with primary focus in regulatory compliance and data management. Her work experience covers a broad range of activities including project management, business development, technical writing, site assessments, field work, and database management. Ms. Stepp has executed these skills across multiple environmental programs; specific emphasis has been projects subject to RCRA, CWA, TSCA, EPCRA and NEPA regulations. Ms. Stepp has had extensive experience in the area of spill prevention and response, developing and executing storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and integrated contingency plans (ICPs) for both federal and commercial facilities. Ms. Stepp’s auditing work encompasses both compliance assessments for storm water, tanks, air and hazardous waste programs, as well as Property Transfer Site Assessments [PTSAs]. In the field work arena, Ms. Stepp has managed and participated in various sampling projects in support of RCRA facility investigations and environmental compliance monitoring pertaining to NPDES permits. In conjunction with many of the field projects, she has developed monitoring plans and investigation reports; and also has been responsible for managing, processing, and analyzing data. Additional data management work has been in support of EPCRA TRI reporting.
