I grow beautiful cut flowers which are seasonal - April to October - on a large plot on a farm. They are grown naturally outdoors, no forcing, no hot house, no pesticides and no air miles as my aim is to sell within a 10 mile radius, or less ideally!I arrange the flowers very informally, hand-tied, and can deliver bouquets to your door, to order. I am cheaper than a High Street florist and enjoy creating tasteful colour combinations and textures. They really are gorgeous even though I say it myself! They have such vitality, and often fragrance, compared to supermarket imports.

This is a very busy health centre with 24 therapists. I deal with the public answering the phone to book in treatments and in person when they come and go. I also manage (in a jobshare capacity) all the administrative and practical duties of running a clinic/office so that everything runs smoothly. I also manage the accounts, and liaise with all the therapists working there.For the last 3 years I was also a Partner in the business with general responsibility for maintaining the clinic both financially and materially, and sorting any day to day issues.I have now 'retired' from this position but retain an interest, acting as a cover receptionist when required.

I looked after the membership for this educational charity - managed subscriptions/renewals, compiled newsletters, helped produce EcoDesign Magazine (and handled all the advertising), answered queries about all aspects of ecodesign, largely from students and covering everything from product design through to green building and whole villages and environments. Managed volunteers. Liaised with Local Groups. Organised annual conference. Produced monthly financial reports and attended meetings with the Trustees.
