Profile bio

About Heather Studenberg

I am a skilled administrator with years’ experience in academia, bolstered by my current experience as a nonprofit administrator. I believe that inclusion enriches the organization. My work at two majority-minority institutions demonstrated to me the value of having all parties represented at the table – administrators, faculty, students, the community - in order truly to achieve inclusion and engagement. That experience has provided me with a broad vision for multicultural affairs.I am adept at working with groups organization-wide to achieve results. At Nova Southeastern University, I advocated for campus-wide change in our undergraduate orientation, presenting recommendations to the president and then working with the deans and administration to make it happen.I have engaged with local organizations, particularly minority-owned businesses, to encourage relationships with the university community. At the University of Miami, I developed relationships with local businesses to include them in our orientation materials as resources to our students. Throughout my career, I have relied on my strong communication and presentation skills to achieve solid results for the organization. I am energetic, enthusiastic, and confident.
