St. Johns River Taxi is the licensed river taxi operator for the City of Jacksonville. We operate two 100-passenger boats and a 60-passenger boat. Established in Jacksonville, FL by NFL Quarterback David Garrard, the foundation supports children diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and provides special service to children who have a mother battling breast cancer. The foundation also promotes heathy, active lifestyles for children and young adults.

The Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee was created to implement Jacksonville's plan for Super Bowl XXXIX. Jacksonville Surface was responsible for developing and executing communications strategies leading up to the 2005 game. She served as Host Committee spokesperson for local, national and international media and managed communication among eight main operating committees and the board of directors.

The Jacksonville Economic Development Commission is part of the Office of the Mayor and serves as the community redevelopment agency and industrial development authority for Duval County. While at the JEDC, Surface directed marketing and communications activities for twelve divisions and was integrally involved in the development of the city’s successful Super Bowl XXXIX bid application. She worked on the promotion and implementation of The Better Jacksonville Plan, a $2.2 billion growth management plan funded by a ½ penny sales tax increase approved by voters in 2000.
