Development, integration and ongoing maintenance of computerised asset management system for all NLC property, plant and equipment, whilst ensuring that the NLC is compliant with relevant Policies, Regulation and Legislation.Implementation of computerised asset management systemManagement of the NLC’s Comcover Insurance; including lodgment, management, reporting and investigation of claims, as well as risk management and benchmarking.Negotiating and managing of property head leases between NLC and other stakeholders including renewals.Undertake data analysis and research, in order to provide recommendations on identified issues/trends, and risk mitigations on asset management operational risks.In consultation with internal stakeholders develop and implement Asset Management Plans and Policies that align with the NLC’s Corporate, Strategic and Business Plans.Leadership and education regarding best practice for asset management, risk management, compliance and insurance whilst promoting a proactive asset management culture within NLC.Liaise with a range of stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective management of assets across the NLC in accordance with policies and procedures, Including developing and implementing of said Policies.Management and execution of small to medium projects across the NLC as it relates to assets and/or property in regional communities.Ensure staff follow NLC’s procurement policies and procedures when purchasing NLC assets.Work towards capturing whole of life (WOL) costing and total cost of ownership and condition assessments on assets/properties. Manage physical asset revaluations on 3-year basis.Building relationships with stakeholder both within NLC and external through face-to-face meetings, targeted training, working groups, support via numerous methods to raise awareness.Preparation of grant applications / funding submissions to secure funding to upgrade assets.Leadership and direction to the Asset Management Team
