My experience includes DEIJ/MTSS leadership, Instructional Coaching, and many years as a teacher leader in the classroom. I have also demonstrated a strong ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members to create a positive learning environment for students.I have a strong commitment to equity and access to education. I believe that all students should have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. I have experience working with diverse populations, including English Learners, students with disabilities, and students from low-income backgrounds. I am knowledgeable in culturally relevant strategies and have implemented programs that support student success.In addition to my experience, I hold a master’s degree in education with a literacy focus. I continuously engage in professional development opportunities to stay current on the latest trends and best practices in education leadership, including attending Eduleader 21 conferences, Elena Aguilar’s Coaches Network, the Leading Equity Community, Wayne RESA’s Curriculum Leaders Network, and Oakland Schools Leadership Academy.As an educational leader, I believe in daring leadership that allows me to be a passionate, concise, and strategic thinker.
