I interviewed potential new hires, completed their new hire paperwork, trained all associates on registers, and set a positive example for the associates. I ensured effective execution of sales productivity programs, made sure there was proper floor coverage according to payroll, and handled disciplinary situations with associates. I effectively managed my own time and associates to ensure a smooth workflow. I have done floor sets, inventory,closeing and opening of the store,supply orders, signing, and loss prevention.

At Kohls I started out as an assistant supervisor of the front end. I processed new hire paperwork and gave group orientations. I was responsible for the. customer service area as well as the front registers. After that I was in charge of infants, girls, boys, home, domestics, and sporting goods departments. I was responsible for assigning tasks to the associates that worked in those departments and following up with them. I also did the floor sets, markdowns, recalls according to paperwork, and replenishment of all areas.

I was resposible for the snacks and shoe departments. In the snacks department I delt with different vendors and allocated endcaps for displays. I was also resposible for merchandising, signing, stocking,and proper upkeep of both departments.
